Bryan asked why it was logically important for him to learn about geography, or moreso specifically about Brazil? I replied that I did not have to defend the logic of it. The only thing that was important was that his father and I think that geography is important. So it is what he needed to learn.

He continued that just because he and I are biologically related, that in itself, does not trump logic? I replied that his father and I both only want him to him to succeed in life so we seek to guide him in the things that serve his best interest; whatever that may be. Our best estimation, therefore, is all he needs to know. Our word suffices. It wholly, completely, entirely suffices.
